FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
1 lg. Vidalia sweet onion
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
Extra milk for soaking onion

Peel onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices and separate into rings. Cover onion with milk and refrigerate until oil is heated. Heat oil to 370 degrees in a large skillet. Beat 2/3 cup milk and flour until smooth, then dip each onion ring into batter and let excess drip into bowl. Fry a few onion rings at a time for about 2 minutes or until brown.
