OATMEAL PLUS MUFFINS 
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. yogurt
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. soft butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped apples or raisins
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine oatmeal, yogurt and milk. Let stand 15 minutes. Add and mix each: butter, brown sugar, egg, fruit and nuts.

Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add, mixing only until moistened.

Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees in greased muffin tins. Makes 1 dozen. These freeze and reheat very well.
