1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. dates
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. orange slices, chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped

Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add applesauce and eggs; mix well. Mix dry ingredients together and add to applesauce mixture. Blend in nuts, orange slices, raisins and dates. May be baked in loaf pans or muffin tins at 350 degrees. If in a loaf pan, approximately one hour baking time.
