VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
2 cans coconut
12 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
6 eggs
1/2 c. Pet milk
2 c. pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla wafers and milk alternately. Add coconut and pecans. Grease and flour a tube pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

CARAMEL BUTTER ICING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar

Bring to boil and stir 1 minute or until slightly thick. Cool and add 1/2 can Pet milk. Beat until smooth. Beat in 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar until spreading consistency.
