TURKEY PIE 
1 1/2 c. cooked chopped turkey
1 1/2 c. cooked diced potatoes
1/2 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. diced celery
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper
Plain pastry

Combine turkey, potatoes, carrots, celery and onion. Add cheese and soup. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place in shallow baking dish. Cover dish with pastry, pressing firmly just below edge of dish. (Roll out pastry and cut it slightly larger than baking dish.) Cut slits in pastry for steam vents. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes until pastry is browned and filling begins to bubble.
