DATE PECAN ROLLS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. dates, cut up

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and mix. Blend in pecans and dates. Roll teaspoonful into balls. Refrigerate balls for 1 to 2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees on greased cookie sheet for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and roll balls in powdered sugar. Sprinkle them again with powdered sugar after cookies have cooled.
