1 fudge brown mix (approx. 22 oz. weight)
20 caramels (preferably Kraft)
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans (optional)

Prepare and bake brownie mix according to directions. While baking, melt caramels with the milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth. Immediately after removing brownies from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans on top of the brownies. Drizzle caramel mixture over the top of this. Cool completely before cutting. If pecans are omitted, use 1 cup of chocolate chips.
