14 oz. bag Kraft caramels 1 box Duncan Hines butter fudge recipe cake mix 2/3 c. evaporated milk (1/2 split) 3/4 c. butter, melted 12 oz. bag chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans (optional) Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat. Mix in large bowl, cake mix, remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk, butter and 1/2 bag chocolate chips. Mix until gooey. Press 1/2 of mixture in 13 x 9 pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle remaining 6 ounce chocolate chips and pecans on top. Pour caramels on top of chips. Crumble rest of dough over mixture and bake for 30 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. |
