VEGETABLE BEAN SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
16 oz. can or pork & beans
1 med. onion
2 tomatoes
2 bell peppers (green)
2 1/2 c. barbecue sauce

In a medium size skillet, cook ground beef until done. While cooking ground beef, empty 16 ounce can of pork & beans into crock pot. Setting on crock pot should be on high. After you have cooked the ground beef, empty into crock pot along with pork & beans. With a large spoon, mix ground beef and pork & beans together. Next, add 2 1/2 cups of barbecue sauce and stir in. While these ingredients are simmering in crock pot, you will need to start dicing up your onion, tomatoes, and bell peppers.

After you have diced up these items, put them into crock pot and stir into beef and pork & beans. Once you have mixed in well, let pot simmer on high for about 1 hour. At this time, you can do one of two things, either turn crock pot on auto-shift of low, depending on how soon you will be eating.
