CREAMY WILTED LETTUCE 
3 - 4 med. green onions
6 slices bacon
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
Dash salt
1 head lettuce, torn (6 c.)

In large mixing bowl or serving bowl (that can be used in microwave) microwave bacon between paper towels 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp. Remove paper and bacon, leaving 3 tablespoons drippings in bowl. Stir in sour cream, egg, vinegar, sugar and salt. Microwave for 3 - 4 minutes until thickened. Stirring occasionally during last half of cooking. Add lettuce, onion, and crumbled bacon, tossing until well coated. Sauce good served over fresh sliced tomatoes, too. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
