SAUSAGE PINWHEELS 
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 lb. sausage

Sift dry ingredients. Work in shortening. Add milk and mix well. Divide dough in half. Roll each half until 1/4-inch thick. Divide sausage in half and spread evenly over dough. Roll each into a roll. Slice and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
