QUICK AND EASY - NOW OR LATER BISCUITS | |
5 c. self-rising flour 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 5 c. plain flour 2 tbsp. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. dry yeast in 1/4 c. warm water 2 c. buttermilk 1 c. corn oil Pour into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Store in airtight container in refrigerator until ready to use. Drop batter by spoon onto baking pan or form biscuits by hand. (Batter will be too soft to roll and cut). Bake the desired number of biscuits at 350 degrees until golden and return the rest of the batter to the refrigerator. |
