SEVEN-UP POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. Swan Down cake flour
1 tbsp. lemon flavor
5 eggs
3/4 c. 7-up (may substitute any lemon flavored soft drink)

Cream the butter. Fold in the sugar (cream mixture). Add 1 egg at a time (cream mixture). Add a little flour at a time. Alternate with 7-Up until all flour and 7-Up have been added (cream mixture). Add flavor. Pour creamed mixture into floured tube or bundt cake pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.
