GRACE'S FRUIT SQUARES 
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. unsifted flour
2 c. broken pecans
6 slices candied pineapple
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. candied cherries

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, flour. Mix well. In greased and floured 11x14 inch pan, spread broken pecans. Spoon batter over nuts and add candied pineapple and cherries. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Cut into squares while warm.
