CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Cake:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1 c. self-rising flour
16 oz. can of chocolate syrup

Cream sugar and butter. Mix in other ingredients.

Bake at 325°F to 350°F for 30 minutes. Use a sheet cake pan or baking dish.

Icing:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. Pet milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, about 1 c.
1 c. nuts, optional

Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Add semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Remove from heat. Stir until morsels have melted. Add nuts if desired. Pour on cake.
