COCONUT CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines butter cake mix
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs (save 2 whites for frosting)

Bake all ingredients together and bake in 3 layers or 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees.

ICING:

2 egg whites
1/3 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. white Karo
Pinch salt

Place all ingredients in top of double boiler. Have water in bottom of pan hot. Beat at high speed for 7 minutes. Spread on cooled cake and sprinkle coconut on top and between layers.
