2 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
2 eggs
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate overnight, or until hard enough to roll out.

Cut out cookie shapes and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.

ICING:

1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
milk (about 2 1/2 tbsp.)

Mix confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Gradually add milk until smooth. Ice cookies and enjoy!
