MYRTLE'S ORIGINAL BAKED LIMA
BEANS
 
2 lg. cans seaside dry limas
6 slices bacon
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 bottle chili sauce
3/4 c. brown sugar

Fry bacon. Remove from pan. In small amount of bacon fat, saute onion and pepper until soft. Drain juice from beans. Add beans to onions and peppers. Add chili sauce, brown sugar and crumbled bacon (reserving some for top of casserole). Place bean mixture in uncovered casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
