1 (9") deep dish unbaked pie crust 1 (6 3/4 oz.) can chunk ham or crabmeat, drained 10 oz. Muenster or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded 3 eggs 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk 1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Fragment the ham into bite-size or smaller pieces and place in the pie crust. Layer cheese over the ham. Mix together the eggs, evaporated milk and the salt; pour over the cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then lower the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until puffed and brown. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving. |
