SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. milk
2 egg whites
1 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. milk

Cream 1 cup sugar and butter. Beat 2 egg yolks with 1/2 cup milk. Add alternately with flour to creamed mixture. Beat 2 egg whites stiff. Fold into mixture after the flour. Sift 1 1/4 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour into 9-inch round pan.

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, chopped nuts. Sprinkle over top of batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
