CHRISSIE'S BEST WHIPPED POTATOES 
This is a great basic recipe, you can go as mild or wild as you wish!

3 lb. potatoes
4 cups milk
2 tbsp. garlic powder
salt

Cover potatoes with 2-inches of water, bring to a boil. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes, until just fork tender.

Drain, return to pot, add milk, bring to a slow boil. Stir occasionally until potatoes are 50% dissolved. Whip with beater and add garlic powder.

Note: Making mashed potatoes this way, there is no need for butter until plated.
