SPONGE CAKE 
Wet pan in cold water and drain.

5 eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
Juice of 1 lemon mixed with sugar and egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted Polar Bear flour

Beat whites of eggs until stiff and dry. Add to them one level teaspoon baking powder. Fold whites of eggs in mixture. Bake in oven with low flame about 35-40 minutes. Let cool in pan upside down.
