Bread butter Skillet Biscuit cutter or knife Cup Egg Salt Lg. spatula or pancake turner For each serving, cut out center of 1 slice bread with biscuit cutter or knife. Spread both sides of bread with soft butter. Melt in skillet over medium heat 1 tablespoon butter. Brown bread slice in skillet over medium heat. Turn bread over. Break into measuring cup or sauce, one egg. Carefully slip the egg into the hole in the bread slice. Lower heat; cover the skillet and cook until egg white is set. Sprinkle egg with salt. Remove from pan with large spatula or pancake turner. |
