MOST DELICIOUS COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. regular oats
1 c. crushed corn flakes
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325°F. Cream together butter and sugars. Add egg and mix well. Add remaining ingredients one at a time except pecans. Mix until combined well. Stir in pecans. Form dough into balls the size of walnuts. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.

Bake at 325°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Do not overcook. Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from pan. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.

Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
