TUT'S TOFFEE 
35 saltine crackers
2 sticks butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans (or walnuts)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Combine butter and brown sugar and microwave 4 minutes on High. Meanwhile, place saltines 5 across and 7 down in lined pan. Remove butter and brown sugar from microwave and spoon over saltines.

Bake 12-13 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove and cover with chocolate chips. When chips soften, smooth over saltines with bottom of spoon. Sprinkle with nuts. Chill 30 minutes and break apart.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
