CREAM CHEESE CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
2/3 c. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips

Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add all at once to dry mixture: water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat until well blended. (Will be thin). Fill 36 cupcake liners 1/2 full with batter. Combine cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Beat well and stir in chocolate chips. Top each cupcake with 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle sugar on top. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes.
