1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil butter, oil, cocoa, and water. Add sugar, flour, soda, milk, egg and vanilla. Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING: (Make 5 minutes before cake is done):

1/4 lb. butter
6 tbsp. cream
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Boil butter, cream, and cocoa. Add sugar, vanilla. Beat until smooth, add nuts. Pour on hot cake as soon as taken from oven. Cool before cutting.
