JOHNS POT ROAST 
2-3 lb. butt or shank roast
6 med. peeled potatoes
6 med. peeled carrots
1 med. sliced onion

1. Brown roast and season to taste.

2. Place roast in medium roasting pan, add 1/2 inch water.

3. Place potatoes, carrots and onion in roaster. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours or until done.
