BISCUIT BREAD | |
1/3 c. butter 3 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. water Cut butter into self-rising flour with a pastry blender until crumbly; add milk and water, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times. Pat dough into a 7-inch circle on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Cut a 1/2-inch deep X in top of dough; spray dough with cooking spray. Bake at 425°F for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned and done. |
