CORNMEAL AND HERB COATING FOR
CHICKEN
 
1 c. dried bread crumbs
1 c. powdered milk
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
3 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. oregano

Combine all the ingredients.

TO USE: Place 1 cupful mixture in a plastic bag, shake chicken pieces until coated. Place on a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Store unused mixture in an airtight container.

Recipe makes enough coating for 3 chickens, each 2 1/2 to 3 pounds.
