1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 c. flour (sifted before)

Mix well; roll in balls; dip slightly in beaten egg whites and then roll in ground nuts. Place on cookie sheet. Press down the centers; fill with jelly. Bake at 350 degrees (watch closely) for approximately 8 minutes.
