GOLDEN VEGETABLE BAKE 
2 tbsp. each butter and flour
1 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. paprika

Combine to make a white sauce.

Stir a little sauce into egg mixture, then add remainder. 1/3 c. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1 1/2 c. grated carrots

Add vegetables. Pour into greased 1 1/2 inch quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Variation: By doubling the amounts for white sauce and leaving out the eggs, you have a product the consistency of thick soup that is a very tasty dish. 156 calories per serving. Yield: 6 servings.
