GOOEY BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. flaked coconut
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar (12.25 oz.) caramel flavored topping
2 c. Cluster cereal
2 tbsp. softened butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and egg. Stir into 1/2 cup butter with fork until mixture is crumbly. Press 3 1/2 cups of the crumb mixture in pan. Bake 15 minutes. Sprinkle with coconut, chocolate chips, drizzle with caramel topping.

Mix remaining crumb mixture with cereal. Cut in 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle over top; press with fork. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool 30 minutes, loosen edges from side of pan. Cool completely. Cut into bars 2 x 1 inch. 54 bars.
