PORK WITH APPLE RINGS 
4 pork chops, cut 1/2" thick
4 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided in half
Salt
Pepper
Accent
1 pkg. yellow rice (soffron)
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. seedless raisins
1 3/4 c. boiling water
4 apple rings
Melted butter

Trim excess fat from chops. Brown slowly in 2 teaspoons oil; season with salt, pepper and Accent; set side. Saute yellow rice, onion and celery for 5 minutes in remaining oil. Add raisins and stir. Turn into oblong casserole. Top rice with chops, cover tightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Top pork chops with apple rings brushed with melted butter and sprinkle with nutmeg. Cover; bake 15 minutes longer. If desired, run under broiler to brown apple rings.
