POPPY SEED CAKE 
1 white cake mix with pudding in the mix
3 eggs
1/2 c. poppy seeds
1/4 c. canola oil

Soak seeds several hours or overnight, in amount of liquid called for on cake mix; beat cake mix and eggs for 2 minutes. Add oil and liquid with seeds and beat 2 more minutes. Bake in greased 9 by 13 for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

BUTTER FROSTING:

1/3 c. soft butter
3 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend until smooth.
