SOFT PRETZELS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in water and let set for a few minutes. Stir in salt and sugar; mix in flour a little at a time. Knead and shape as traditional pretzels or letters of the alphabet, animals, etc. Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with a beaten egg white and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Also an excellent pizza crust for deep dish pizza. Use iron skillet for pizza pan.
