SOFT PRETZEL RECIPE 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour, sifted
1 egg, beaten
Coarse salt

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar and salt. Blend in flour. Knead dough on floured surface, until smooth. Roll out dough. Cut into strips. Twist into folded hands shape. Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with egg; sprinkle with salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 30-40.
