DATE BARS 
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chopped dates (I use whole box)
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine nuts, dates, sugar and eggs in a bowl and mix well with a spoon. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Turn into greased shallow pan (11 x 7 inch) so mix is 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into bars and roll them in powdered sugar while still hot.
