TACO SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes with liquid
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
1 (17 oz.) can corn with liquid
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 tsp. cumin & 1/2 tsp. salt (add if want more spicy)

Brown beef and drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 15 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

If desired, may top bowls of soup with grated cheese, avocado, sour cream and corn chips for garnish. Serves 6 to 8.

I made this for dinner this evening. My husband loved it! I made my own taco seasoning though. It tasted like a Mexican chili. Very good!

This soup is AWESOME -- but you need to serve it with tostitos for the perfect taste. Second time I made it, I added a pkg. of dried hidden valley ranch dressing. It didn't change the flavor - just made it seem a tad bit thicker. PERFECT on a dark, cloudy winter day!
