NEVER FAIL BISCUITS 
3 tbsp. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. oil
5 1/2 c. self-rising flour

Dissolve in 1 cup warm water, 3 tablespoons sugar and 2 packages yeast. Add one teaspoon baking soda to mixture, then add two cups buttermilk and add 3/4 cups oil. Stir in 5 1/2 cups self-rising flour. Store in refrigerator in covered bowl. Use as needed. Dough will keep up to 2 weeks. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
