1 3/4 c. corn meal
4 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. onion
1 egg, beaten
2 c. boiling water

Combine all dry ingredients. Add chopped onion and beaten egg. Pour boiling water over this mixture until smooth. Drop by teaspoons into hot grease fry until golden brown.
