DOUGHNUTS 
1 pkg. yeast
2 1/4 c. warm water
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oil
6 to 7 c. plain flour (approximately 6 1/2)

Mix yeast, water, sugar, salt, oil and a little flour at a time. Knead the dough and let it rise then knead it again. Roll dough out and cut with doughnut cutter or you can use a glass to cut doughnut and a Coke top for the hole. Fry in deep grease until brown.

GLAZE:

1 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 tbsp. milk

Mix all of these ingredients together. This will be thin. Dip doughnuts in glaze while they are hot. Makes about 3 to 4 dozen.
