UNCOOKED BUTTER FROSTING | |
1/2 c. butter 4 c. powdered sugar 1 egg yolk 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. cream or milk Cream butter in a bowl. Sift powdered sugar add sugar to creamed shortening. Add 1 egg yolk, vanilla, cream or milk. Gradually add remaining sugar, alternately with cream or milk to make frosting thick and creamy. Covers 2 (9 inch) layer cakes or 24 cupcakes. |
