CHRISTMAS CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
4 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. raisins
2 c. blackberry jam
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
6 eggs

Mix all ingredients together by hand. Put cake batter in four 8x8 cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
10 egg yolks

Cook ingredients until thick. Add 2 cups pecans, 2 cups coconut. Frost cake after it cools.
