CUCUMBER RELISH 
4 qts. cucumbers (do not peel)
2 qts. onions
4 tbsp. salt

Coarsely grind cucumbers and onions. Add salt. Let stand overnight. Drain. 6 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed 2 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. cloves 2 tbsp. dry mustard 6 c. vinegar

Bring to boil. Add cucumbers. Cook 10 minutes. Seal in hot sterilized jars. Good on hot dogs in picnic season.
