HERBED POT ROAST 
2 lb. arm or chuck roast
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. beef bouillon
1/4 c. hot water
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. parsley

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat meat. Brown meat in oil. Combine bouillon, water, bay leaf, spices. Pour over meat in Dutch oven. Cover. Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Can add vegetables during last hour of cooking.
