1 stick butter 1 c. granulated sugar 3 c. Kellogg's Rice Krispies Confectioners' sugar 1 c. finely cut pitted dates 2 eggs 1/2 c. chopped nutmeats 1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter in skillet. Add dates, granulated sugar, and eggs. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture forms a ball (5 to 8 minutes). Remove from heat; cool slightly. Stir in Rice Krispies and nuts, mixing well. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in confectioners' sugar. Can also shape into rolls; roll in confectioners' sugar. Wrap in waxed paper; chill. Cut in slices about 1/4 inch thick. |
