SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. cold water

Sift all dry ingredients together and beat butter, molasses and egg together in bowl. Add dry ingredients, alternate with cold water. Beat until blended. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from sheet. Bake at 375 degrees. 3 dozen cookies.
