BEST SOUTHERN TACOS | |
These are addictive, you can't eat just one, generally people eat five or six of them. My Aunt got this recipe when she lived on the Texas border. 1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, diced 1 (10 oz.) can Rotel diced tomatoes salt, to taste 2 to 3 dashes hot sauce (Louisiana) corn tortillas lettuce tomatoes radishes Brown hamburger meat with diced onion. Pour in tomatoes, add salt and hot sauce. Simmer for about twenty minutes. Put some oil in a skillet, and either soften tortillas in it or cook them until crispy, whichever you prefer. Chop lettuce, tomatoes and slice radishes. Put the meat on the tortillas, and top with the lettuce, tomatoes, and radishes. Enjoy! Submitted by: Beverly Rice |
