VERY DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 squares dark German chocolate, melted
1 c. flour, sifted
5 egg whites, beaten until stiff

Cream together butter, sugar, and melted chocolate until fluffy. Add flour and mix. Slowly fold in beaten egg whites. Pour in greased and floured fancy loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes.

When cooled, spread raspberry jam on top in the center of the cake and cover with melted chocolate.
